1975 – April 23, 2025
With profound sorrow, we share the unexpected passing of Carolyn (Daniels) Sanger, 49, who died following a tragic fall on April 23rd. Carrie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, nurse, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched countless lives.
She was the beloved wife of Michael Sanger and the devoted mother of John Alden, Quinn, Camille, and Kelan—her pride, her joy, and her greatest legacy. Carrie poured her heart into her young family, always placing their well-being first and inspiring them with her strength, creativity, and unconditional love.
A compassionate and skilled oncology nurse, Carrie dedicated many years to supporting patients and families through their most difficult times. More recently, she brought her lifelong passion for wellness into the community by founding the Balanced Body Wellness Center in Topsfield. Carrie was thrilled to be opening her own business, having lovingly renovated her building and eagerly planning for a grand opening in the coming weeks. She was proud to create a healing space for others and excited to share it with the community she cared for so deeply.
Born in 1975 and raised in Holliston, MA, Carrie carried a deep love for family, service, and the natural beauty of her surroundings. Her laughter could brighten even the darkest day, and her thoughtful presence made others feel truly seen and valued. Whether offering comfort in a quiet moment or showing up wholeheartedly for those she loved, Carrie lived with authenticity, kindness, and resilience.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Edward and Nancy Daniels, formerly of Holliston and now residing in Eastham, MA. She is also survived by her sister, Pamela Daniels of Brewster, MA; and her brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Doriane Daniels of Holliston, MA. Her extended family, friends, patients, and all who had the joy of knowing her will feel her loss profoundly.
A memorial service to celebrate Carrie’s life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Topsfield Congregational Church. A gathering for all will follow at Topsfield Town Hall, where friends and family are welcome to share memories and honor her life together.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support Carolyn’s children through the GoFundMe campaign established in her memory:
