November Busy Month for Holliston Veterans

All Holliston veterans are invited to the Holliston Public Library on Monday November 10th (Marine Corps Birthday) for coffee and donuts. No reservation needed, just conversation and comradeship.

On Veterans Day, Tuesday November 11th all town veterans are invited to meet at Blair Square at 10:20 am for a short march up Central and Washington Streets to town hall. After a short service veterans are invited inside for a turkey dinner. Invites were mailed out, but if you didn’t check the veterans box on the local town census we had no way of knowing. The event is sponsored by the local American Legion, the Holliston Lions Club and VFW. Veterans unable to march should meet at town hall at 10:46 am.

On Thursday November 13th the high school will sponsor an event “students meet veterans” at 9:40 am. This first event is limited as post commanders select the veterans telling their stories to students. At 11 am all town veterans will meet students in the auditorium. Veterans please bring a photo ID.

Friday November 7th veterans will visit the Timothy Daniels House on Elm Street. 9 veterans are currently residing there.
