Summer Concert Series Ends with National Night Out 2022

The Holliston Parks & Recreation Summer Concert Series wrapped up Tuesday, August 2nd with kid-centric music by “Matt Heaton and the Outside Toys.” August 2nd was also “National Night Out,” an annual community-police awareness event.

Holliston’s Rothschild Advanced in ANW Semi-Finals

The semifinals for NBC’s American Ninja Warrior continued in Los Angeles as competing ninjas faced up to 10 challenging obstacles, including new obstacles Hopscotch and Box Office.
Casey Rothschild from Holliston, MA competed in the semi-finals on the July 25th episode and advanced to the next round – The National Finals.

Select Board’s August 1, 2022, Meeting

The entire Select Board and Town Administrator were all in the assigned seats when the Monday, August 1, 2022, meeting convened. Chair Ben Sparrell called the “good” agenda (feeling he’s overused robust) to order at 7:00pm. You can change the adjective but not the amount of work tackled during each meeting.

Holliston Knights Really Deliver

Back in early June the Knights of Columbus Council 14224 held a fundraising golf outing at Pinecrest, “Swinging for Charity.” The proceeds from that event were earmarked for donation to the Holliston Pantry Shelf. Recently, the Knights delivered a check for $9,000 to the Pantry Shelf.

That’s a Wrap on Prana Summer Stock!

The Prana Center wrapped up two weeks of their popular Summer Stock “play in a week” program with a production of Alice in Wonderland at Christ the King Church, Friday, July 22.
