Conservation Commissioner Wanted

The Holliston Conservation Commission, a seven-member volunteer board, currently has an opening.  If you are a Holliston resident with an interest in wetland and conservation issues and would like to serve your Town on a volunteer board, then the Commission encourages you to apply for this position.  No experience is necessary, however, experience in a field, such as science, engineering, or regulatory matters is helpful.

If you are looking for a summer read that is 100% pure fun, then The Bodyguard is for you. The main ingredients are sunshine, sass, swooning and swagger. Like any romcom, it has a far-fetched plot, lots of banter, and a predictable ending, but it also had lots of lovable characters, nostalgia and hope. I usually go for more darkness in my books but this one hit me at just the right time – a time when I wanted to be lost in a blissfully light and happy novel.

The Select Board Tackles “Busy” Agenda

Following an Executive Session dealing with the Town Administrator’s employment contract and an Incident Response Plan, the Holliston Select Board’s public session began at 7:09pm.  Chair Ben Sparrell called the meeting to order and noted that again the Board had a “busy agenda” to tackle.
