The 28th Annual Communicator Awards Announces Winners

New York, NY – The winners of the 28th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). With over 5,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Story Time with Chief Cassidy: “Let’s Meet a Firefighter” (Episode 20) was recognized as an Award of Excellence winner.

Holliston High School Softball Update:

The Holliston High Softball team continues to their breakout season by going 4-1 since the last update. Beginning last week the Panthers won 4 straight defeating Holbrook, Medway, Dover-Sherborn and Framingham.  During this stretch the Panthers scored a collective total of 55 runs while only allowing 13.  

Select Board Receives Two Engineering Reports

While the Holliston Select Board held its weekly meeting using the hybrid format, the ‘normal’ seating was maintained through the miracle of technology. Chair Tina Hein called the May 16, 2022, meeting to order at 7:01pm

May 16, 2022; Peace Officer Memorial Day in Holliston

Peace Office Memorial Day is part of the weeklong observance of Police Week. The Holliston Select Board proclaimed Monday, May 16th as the Town-wide observance to remember those HPD officers who have passed – including Officer John Johnson killed in the line of duty on August 13, 1981.
