A Sunday of Fundraising

by Bobby Blair 2/7/10

Members of Mt. Hollis AF&AM (Ancient Free and Accepted Masons) were busy Sunday morning at their lodge.

Hoping to break last year's number of hoagies made (240), a steady stream of customers made their way to the lodge before the big game.

Lodge member David Hill slices tomatoes.

Above (left) John (Choo-Choo) Shannahan discusses the Mudville Baseball Club with Lodge member Jack Anderson. Shannahan dropped by to pick up several hoagies (no hots for Suzanne).

Boy Scout Troop 14 held its Annual Pancake Breakfast at St. Mary's Hall --

Unfortunatley the breakfast coincided with one being held at the High School by the Lions Club.

With a population headed towards 15,000 there's surely enough room for two events of this type on the same morning.
