Loscocco and Cahill Host Social Hour

Hopeful gubernatorial candidates Tim Cahill and Paul Loscocco greeted vistiors to the Holliston Historical Society Home on March 6.

Signs promoting Cahill and Loscocco were displayed on Washington Street welcoming all to come in and meet the candidates for governor and lieutenant governor.

It was a reception to introduce the candididates to Hollistonians and neighboring communities.

There was a table of goodies for all to enjoy.

Of course, no political gathering would be complete without a speech or two. Tim and Paul each spoke briefly, emphasizing their independent positon, stating that they put their respective parites aside to solve problems. Both Democrats and Republicans have good ideas, and they will incorporate the best of both. 

The focus will be on taxes and business growth, with level playing field. There is no special industry or section of the state that will be emphasized and all classes of work will be promoted. They did comment that they have been informed that the McCain campaign team will offer to work with them in the campaign.

The audience was very receptive to their remarks.

The social hour provided an opportuninty for guests to meet and share ideas with Tim and Paul.

There will be more concentrated political activity in the near future to be sure.
