July 4th Flag Count – 2020

Saturday morning, we travelled about 25 miles and never left Holliston conducting this year’s Holliston Reporter July 4^th flag count. As in the past we visited four sections of town. This time, we found one section of town with more than 30% of the addresses displaying patriotic symbols!

Roughly 574 addresses were in the observation zones, with an overall average of 24.2%. Last year the average was 21%.

The results are tabulated below.

Great spirit in the Southeast corner of the Town.

If you have a chance to drive around town this weekend, you too might be inspired by our Town’s patriotic spirit!

This a great idea. Maybe you need volunteers to help you since the coverage is less than 5 %. You can count on me as a volunteer the next time. USA strong 🇺🇸

There is one home on Gregory Rd. with over 50 flags surrounding their backyard pool.
