July 4th Flag Count – 2020

Saturday morning, we travelled about 25 miles and never left Holliston conducting this year’s Holliston Reporter July 4th flag count.  As in the past we visited four sections of town.  This time, we found one section of town with more than 30% of the addresses displaying patriotic symbols!

Roughly 574 addresses were in the observation zones, with an overall average of 24.2%.  Last year the average was 21%.

The results are tabulated below.

Great spirit in the Southeast corner of the Town.

If you have a chance to drive around town this weekend, you too might be inspired by our Town’s patriotic spirit!

This a great idea. Maybe you need volunteers to help you since the coverage is less than 5 %. You can count on me as a volunteer the next time. USA strong 🇺🇸

I think you missed a great display on Orchard Lane, complete with a 6 foot tall Uncle Sam.
