HHS Sports Recap – Week 3
Boys Soccer: Our seniors played with pride on Senior Day and took down Bellingham 7-1. Sam Abddallah got us on the board early with a great finish to up us up 1-0. Ryan Foley had the game winner and finished with 3 goals and 1 assist on the day. Captain Owen Burke collected 1 goal and 2 assists. Ben Siegal and Nick Reffel also scored one each today. The boys’ varsity soccer team continued their winning ways with a 5-0 victory on Sunday. Ryan Foley collected 1 goal and had 3 assists, also scoring were captains Owen Burke and Brendan MacLeod, Ben Kagno and Ben Siegel. Nice team victory as the boys extend their unbeaten streak to 6 games with a record of 4-0-2. They will host Medway on Saturday.
Girls Field Hockey: We went 2-0 for the weekend, current record is 4-0. JV also went 2-0 this weekend. Saturday: won 5-0 vs. Bellingham.Goals scored by: Cara Chipman, Peyton Hastings, Bridget Glynn (2 goals), Jordyn Kuharich.Assists from: Steph Farrell, Abby Glynn (2), Kayla Tomacelli. Sunday: won 8-1 vs. Bellingham.Senior Day: recognized Ellen Kizik and Jenna Shutt. 8 different players scored: Cara Chipman, Ellie Currie, Peyton Hastings, Abby Glynn, Bridget Glynn, Ellen Kizik, Adriana Bureau, Jordyn Kuharich.Next week: @ Medway 10 am game Saturday, 1030 home vs Medway on Sunday
Boys Cross Country: Holliston Boys Cross Country defeated Bellingham 24-33 at home this past weekend. Senior Captain Brandon Hutchins led the way for the Panthers with 17:26 5000m home course personal best.
Coed Golf: Holliston defeated Bellingham at New England CC 267-276. Low for Holliston were senior co captain Louie Denison-41(5 0ver par) and senior co captain Carson Perry 43, and Sophomore Andrew Denison with 44 (his low round of the year). Holliston travels to Hopkinton on Wednesday for the last match of the year.
Girls Soccer: The Girls went 2-0 this weekend. On Saturday we were away at Bellingham. We won 7-1. Senior Day was Sunday we won 5-0. All 5 goals were scored by all five seniors Grace Malloy, Amanda Silva, Addie Capobianco, Ellie Burke, and Meghan Putvinski.
