The Holliston Lions Club has maintained a decades long relationship with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. During the Lions year which ended on June 30, a significant change occurred and we could no longer host the Cycle for Life. The Holliston Lions Club golf committee decided it was in the best interest of our community to continue this relationship and with the approval of the Club’s board of directors we decided to partner with CFF for our annual golf tournament.
We would like to extend our thanks to all those who participated in the tournament including golfers and volunteers from CFF & the Lions Club. We also want to share our deep appreciation to our sponsors who allowed us to make this event a successful fundraising event for Cystic Fibrosis and the Holliston Lions. For the first time since the Holliston Lions launched the golf tournament, we sold out nearly two weeks before the event. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, golfers, and CFF the Holliston Lions Club was able to donate $6,150 to CFF.
We would also like to extend a special thanks to Anthony’s on the Green for helping us provide lunch for volunteers, golfers, and supporters and an extra special thanks to Gaetano’s for donating a fabulous dessert for the event.
