The Holliston Water Department has issued the October Water Bill. There have been many estimated bills over the past few years. With the new cellular based reading system project the Town has started to get actual readings.
Some bills are higher than usual, while some have a credit for previous over estimates. The Town has taken steps over the past several years to prevent large bills by requesting customers report their actual readings from their water meter. Over 500 customers who have this one-time catchup usage have been adjusted to the lowest tier. This courtesy has been extended in an effort to assist with the current balance.
For those with larger bills please call the Water Department and the Town will work out a payment arrangement. For those with credits, the Town will continue to deduct the quarterly bill until the credit is zeroed out.
