Ann “Nancy” Elizabeth Hayes at 82

Ann “Nancy” Elizabeth Hayes, 82, of Holliston, passed away peacefully at Timothy Daniels House in Holliston on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Born in Boston on October 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Anna (McCarthy) and Thomas O’Leary. She was the wife of 59 years to George Emerson Hayes with whom she made a loving family home in Holliston, where they resided for 56 years.  

Ann is also survived by her beloved five children and their spouses, Stephen Hayes and his wife, Christina of Whitinsville, Chris Hayes and his wife, Grace of Medway, Kelley Lebow and her husband Chris of Mendon, Joseph Hayes and his wife Nicole of San Francisco, CA and John Hayes of San Francisco, CA. She also leaves behind eleven loving grandchildren Joshua Hayes, Kasey Hayes, Jack Hayes, Nicole Intinarelli, Michael Lebow, Jake Lebow, Gabriel Hayes, Lucas Hayes, Mackenzie Hayes, Madison Hayes, Brooklyn Hayes, and three great grandchildren Cheyanne Hayes, Delilah Hayes, and Landyn Lebow. Dear to Ann’s heart were her siblings, late Patricia Semprucci, Eileen Peters and her husband Kenneth Peters, Rita Marie and her husband Jack Mahan, David O’Leary and his widowed wife June O’Leary. Ann is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ann was a Personal Caregiver for disabled adults for many years before retiring in 2007. With her kind and nurturing personality, Ann genuinely enjoyed supporting these adults in their daily lives and frequently took them on outings to special places like her favorite spot Castle Island and included them in her own family get-togethers.  Ann enjoyed the outdoors including puttering in her yard planting flowers and hosting pool parties.

Visitation will take place on Monday, August 22nd from 10:00-1:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com.

  1. My aunt Nancy was a fun loving woman who treasured her family, including her extended family. She made very special lasting memories for me, and I am grateful I had such a wonderful person in my life.
