A fairly routine week for HFD until Tropical Storm Isaias blew through last Tuesday.

HFD ambulance crews and firefighters assisted several residents during this reporting period.

The ambulance crews were traversing the town during this reporting period. Several situations required HFD investigation.

A relatively quiet week for HFD. That’s good news for everyone involved.

Along with several medical calls, HFD responded to a car fire and a grill fire during this reporting period.

HFD conducted several investigations of potentially hazardous situations, backed up both Sherborn and Medway firefighters, and handled many medical emergencies during this reporting period.

The ambulance was busy this week. The firefighters quickly dispatched a brush fire and investigated some alarm activations.

There was some brush fire fighting along with the ‘usual’ medical calls this week.

HFD’s time was split almost equally between medical calls and investigations.

Several medical emergencies, including one MedFlight transport, were covered by HFD during this reporting period. Illegal burning drew some attention as well.
