Text and Photos by Ken Robinson
For as long as I can remember, birds have always fascinated me. I recall fondly how my grandmother in England cherished the flurry of activity on her birdfeeders. Fast forward to today, when my family and I now live in New England. My fascination continues.
Despite countless hours photographing fast-action sports, I can honestly say it’s a lot harder catching birds in flight. Especially the smaller ones, whose speed “off the blocks” is incredibly impressive. I am sharing a few photos of our backyard neighbors in Holliston.
Publishers’ Note: The Holliston Reporter thanks Ken for his latest contribution to the “edu-tainment” of our readers, who know Ken for his past photographic contributions of sports in Holliston. We applaud the adaptation of his talents during our sports hiatus.
