Happy Father’s Day. Breakfast is served at the Hist Soc Sunday morning.
The Select Board meets Tuesday, Planning Board (555 Hopping Brook) on Thursday.

The Holliston Council on Aging held its monthly meeting on June 14, 2023. Chair Yvette Cain (below left front) called the meeting to order at 2:30pm – the start was delayed so all could enjoy the “Summer Sizzler” luncheon.
We’ve come to expect thought-provoking novels with a twist from Jodi Piccoult and Mad Honey doesn’t disappoint. This book was co-authored by the talented Jennifer Finney Boylan and their partnership translates brilliantly on the page. The story is told in two voices and each author writes one of the points of view. They are interwoven seamlessly to build anticipation, tell each character’s story and lead you on a wild ride.
Lots to attend / enjoy during this coming week.
Monday’s Select Board meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
One does not need to know every detail about Harry Potter to enjoy this delightful spoof, entitled Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. 40 young people will be bringing this to life this weekend at Prana.

The annual Holliston Pops concert returns this Friday night, June 9th (rain date Saturday, June 10th) at Kamitian Field. Tickets are adults, $15.00, and students/seniors $10.00. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with stadium seating.

The winners of the 29th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). With around 3,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. “Story Time with Chief Cassidy: Dial 911” (Episode 29) was recognized as an Award of Distinction winner in the Film/Video – Youth Audience category.
