Ask the Assessor

Planning Board Continues 555 Hopping Brook Hearing
The Holliston Planning Board convened at 7:12pm on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Three Public Hearings were scheduled on the Board’s agenda.
Council on Aging Holds January Meeting
The Holliston Council on Aging held its January meeting on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Chair Yvette Cain convened the meeting at 2:00pm, with the reading of the guidelines for holding public meetings with remote members participation.
Quarterly Water Bills Coming Soon!
The quarterly water bills will be mailed out Tuesday, January 17, 2023. This bill reflects water usage for the period October, November, and December 2022 and any arrears.
Celebrate Holliston Donates $45,000 to Blair Square Redevelopment
Celebrate Holliston and Friends of Holliston Trails are pleased to announce our commitment to the redevelopment of Blair Square by way of a monetary donation to the project. The town-appointed Blair Square Committee was formed several years ago and asked to reimagine how the space functions with two key goals in mind: redesigning Blair Square to improve drainage in the area, while also creating a safe, multi-functional community space.
Holliston Happenings: Week of January 8 – 14, 2023
A full week of meetings on the Town’s calendar this week. Of note is the Planning Board’s meeting on Thursday includes a Public Hearing regarding a new proposal for 555 Hopping Brook.
Library Trustees Meet with a MA Board of Library Commission’s Building Representative
The Library Trustees’ January 4, 2023, meeting began with a presentation by Andrea Bono-Bunker (photo above), MA Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) Library Building Specialist, to apprise the group of new regulations concerning Building Grants for 2024. With all Trustees present, as well as Library staff and Holliston Facilities Director James Keast, a lively discussion ensued.
