Claire Margaret Brady, 83, of Holliston, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Nora (Hoare) and William Hagerty. She was the wife of 60 years to Thomas P. Brady Jr.
Claire was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her younger years, she taught middle school in Boston and volunteered at the YWCA. She later worked at Donahue Financial in Holliston. Claire loved to travel, especially to national parks across the country. She loved to watch British mystery shows on PBS. She was also a fantastic cook and loved preparing meals for family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Claire is survived by two children, Daniel Brady of Holliston and Shana Brady of New York City. She also leaves her granddaughter, Christina Brady of Milford, and her niece, Laura Fitzgerald. She is predeceased by her brothers, Daniel, John, and James Hagerty, and her nephew, Robert Hagerty. Also, she is survived by a large extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston.
