Dorothy E. Clark, 89, of Holliston, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Born in Milton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Louise (Hahn) and Fritjof Torgersen. She was the wife of 65 years to the late Norman W. Clark Jr., who passed away in May.
Dorothy loved to play croquet and was an avid reader. She enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time at her cottage in Maine. She loved playing cards and Rummikub with the same group of friends as Norman. She was a member of the Holliston Stompers Square Dancers and had many beloved friends throughout the years. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was always upbeat and brought joy to those around her.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Russell Clark of Monmouth, Maine, Carolyn Tierney and her husband, Timothy, of Franklin, Virginia Watkins of Holliston, and Marjorie Hayes and her husband, Bradford, of Colorado. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Courtney Tierney, Kristine Watkins, Rebecca Fieldhouse (Ryan), Joseph Watkins III, Carolyn, Brian, and John Hayes; Russell, Jennifer, Justin, and Katherine Clark; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Schmeisser.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral home service to follow at 11:00, at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heather C.
