Chief Michael Cassidy, Weekend Duty Officer Jim Moore, and Engine 2 secured a landing zone on Hollis Street for a helicopter to transport the patient to a trauma center. Due to an extended estimated time of arrival time for a helicopter, the resident was subsequently transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.
