Holliston’s beloved First Night Trail Walk is back with some exciting new features! The
event will be hosted by Friends of Holliston Trails on Tuesday December 31st from 5-
8pm.
In addition to firepits, food, a laser light show and music, there will be 500 tea light
lanterns for attendees to carry with them to light their way. Also, the walk is being
extended westward past Cross Street to Wenakeening Woods where across the trail
you will find “Mill Pond” where you can make a wish and float a light onto the pond.
Begin your walk from either Blair Square (corner of Railroad St. and Central Street, a
one mile walk) or Cross Street (behind Phillips 66 on Rt. 16, a 0.25 mile walk) and meet
in Phipps Tunnel for a hot dog and warm beverage.
If you are interested in volunteering or hosting a fire pit, please message us via
Facebook (Friends of Holliston Trails) or email the organizer, Parker Snyder
parkersnyder@gmail.com.
While the event is free to the public, donations are welcome. All funds raised are
invested back into the trail.
