After a pandemic hiatus, two very popular Halloween events were back in action on Sunday, October 31st. The action started at 10 am and Trick or Treat revelers were out on Holliston streets that evening – even with a downpour!
It was hard to miss the Pumpkin Patrol at HPD headquarters.
Then on down to Blair Square to catch the Newcomers and Neighbors’ Trail Walk. All ages dressed up and got into the spirit as they visited the stations set up between Central and Exchange Streets.
Of course the real action took place all around town in the evening. The rain did not seem to dampen the spirit of trick or treaters who waited two years to get back to something approaching normal.
One normal feature returned to Mudville’s celebration – a very scary person running a blade-less chain saw bringing out the best squeals.
And – due to the rain on Saturday, the Community Farm’s Haunted Walk is postponed to this coming Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 5 – 9 pm at the Community Farm on Rogers Road. Don’t put your costumes away just yet!
