Hello Holliston Public Schools Community:
I would like to share some exciting news with all of you. Last Wednesday, Susan Stone and I attended the MASS STEM Summit at Patriot Place, at which Interim Commissioner Patrick Tutwiler and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll shared that the Innovation Career Pathway program submitted by Holliston High School has been granted designation. We are very excited to have achieved this distinction.
The MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education wrote to us stating, “We are confident that your Innovation Career Pathway in Business and Finance will offer students a transformative experience, enabling them to develop essential skills, gain awareness of future career opportunities, and make informed choices about post-secondary education in promising fields.”
Having received this designation, it was issued as a five-year performance contract, with grant funds awarded and with annual reporting requirements and a formal review after the first three years. MA DESE will provide regular and ongoing professional development to support our work through the Innovation Career Pathways Community of Practice. We are so proud of the work completed by Principal List, Susan Stone, Jenn Andrews, and the team at Holliston High School for having received this important distinction that will benefit our students at HHS in their future outcomes!
Sincerely
Dr. Susan Kustka, Superintendent
