Holliston Open Space Committee

The Holliston Open Space Committee has an opening for a new member on this town-
appointed committee. This is a great opportunity for town residents who enjoy our town’s many
conservation properties and agricultural assets and want to get involved in our community.
While experience in land protection would be an asset to the committee, the only requirements
are an interest in preserving natural habitats, the environment and farming and availability to
meet once a month.

Waterproof boots are also recommended!

Interested residents are encouraged to send their questions, recommendations, or nomination
letters to openspace@holliston.k12.ma.us.

About the Holliston Open Space Committee:
The town of Holliston formed the Open Space Committee in 1999 to promote the benefits of
permanent preservation of additional open space in Holliston. The Committee serves as a
resource to landowners and works to facilitate land acquisitions or other land protections such
as conservation restrictions or agricultural preservation restrictions, subject to Town Meeting
approval.
