When Elvira Haberski moved to Holliston in 1961, she probably didn’t think that she would still be here in 2023. Elvira, who lives on 32 Fairview Street, turned 100 on Thursday, January 19th.
Elvira raised all seven of her children in Holliston, and many of her 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren have called the town home as well.
In celebration of her long life, Elvira’s family held a drive-by car parade on January 21st.
While most of us were hunkered down as of March 16, 2020, the work of town government continued uninterrupted as the paid professionals and unpaid officials met via Zoom and even conducted hiring procedures for several positions.
