HOLLISTON, MA — Residents from Holliston and area communities will gather again in front of Town Hall on Saturday, October 18, at 2 PM. They will join millions of Americans at over 2,000 individual events in a nationwide call to stop the Trump Administration’s assault on the Constitution; the Republic; and the law-abiding, hard-working people who live and work in the United States.
The festive, family-friendly gathering will feature patriotic songs and chants, Holliston’s trademark bubbles, and hundreds of peaceful, committed demonstrators. The event will emphasize the community’s unity and hope in the face of kidnappings of law-abiding immigrants by ICE, the unlawful occupation of American cities, and violent attacks against peaceful protesters. Attendees will also protest the economic hardship Trump Administration policies are bringing to those most vulnerable among us, including children, working families, and the elderly.
In the spirit of unity and support, attendees will gather cash donations for CASA, an area organization that provides food donations and other services to families in need. We encourage Holliston residents to join their neighbors in peaceful protest by registering here and showing up at 2 PM on 10/18 with a sign and voice!
