Judith Krasnoff

Judith “Judy ” Krasnoff (Ash), lovingly known as Grammy; passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 97 at Vantage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, MA. Judy was the loving wife of the late Robert (Bob) Krasnoff for 67 years who passed away in November 2016. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grammy, and great-grammy, and her family was her greatest joy.

Judy is survived by her daughter Jane and husband Ken Podsen, granddaughter Laurel and Tim Ross and their daughter Emma; and grandson Justin; daughter Margie and husband David Lubanko, granddaughter Rachel and husband Andrew Machado and their twin daughters Paige and Olivia; granddaughter Valerie and husband Mark Doherty and their sons Julian and Adam; son Steven and wife Lisa, grandson Max and wife Daniele and their children Eliot and Logan, granddaughter Debbie and husband Jake Yarmoff, and granddaughter Katie and partner Sean Bennett. Judy was predeceased by her brother Melvin Ash and his wife Adele.

Judy was born on March 19, 1927, in Haverhill, MA., the loving daughter of Isadore and Betty Ash (Karp). She met her husband Bob at Syracuse University and married in 1949. They lived in Framingham for 45 years and raised their 3 children before moving to Holliston and then Milford. They were active members of Temple Beth Shalom in Framingham, where Judy was a member of the Sisterhood and very active on various committees. She was also very involved in the community with a large group of close-knit friends.

Judy loved to cook and entertain, play bridge, play tennis, and was an avid golfer. She also loved to travel with her husband Bob. Judy volunteered as a docent at the Danforth Museum as well as other community ventures. Judy always put her heart into everything she did.
Judy’s family wishes to express their gratitude toward the staff at Genesis/Vantage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, MA. for their care, compassion, kindness, and support over the past 9 years.
