KOC FREE THROW CHALLENGE

Saturday January 25, 2025

The future of basketball in Holliston is assured as this year’s crop of 10 to 17 year olds showed up to play in the 14th Annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw Challenge at the High School.

Today’s challenge was the first round to determine who would go onto the regional playoffs, then hoping to go the semis and finally the championships. This year 71girls and boys each had 15 free throws to sink to qualify for the regional playoffs – no pressure.

During a brief pause in the action Knight Tom Brodo, below, proves you never outgrow your love of basketball, no matter your age (undisclosed). Although without practice, Tom, don’t expect to make the regionals.
