Under a dreary sky, perhaps apropos on such an auspicious occasion, Holliston’s American Legion Post 47 conducted a modified 9/11 remembrance and presentation to Holliston’s first responders.
Post Commander Stephen Bradford worked with Town officials and public health and safety officials to plan an observance that continued the Post’s 11-year tradition and met COVID guidelines.
Commander Bradford began the observance with a moment of silence to reflect on those whose lives were ended and those whose lives were forever changed.
The Town Hall flag at half-staff calls us, as in Commander Bradford’s closing, to REMEMBER.

At approximately 7:29 am Tuesday morning a multi-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Highland and Prentice Streets.
The accident is still under investigation – expect continuing traffic disruption.
