From Leslie McDonnell
The Holliston Public Library will sponsor a Mystery Book Club beginning Tuesday, October 13, at 11 AM. The club meeting is virtual, and readers should register at www.hollistonlibrary.org to receive a Zoom invitation for the discussion.
The first book is Jane Harper’s The Lost Man, set in the Australian outback. Nathan tries to solve the mystery of his brother’s death and learns that his family has more to hide than he could have ever imagined.
The group will decide future selections. For more info, visit the library’s website or email Lmcdonnell@minlib.net. The book club is free and open to everyone. It will meet the second Tuesday of each month.
On Wednesday, October 14, at 7 PM, chef Liz Barbour will present “Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes per Day,” a cooking lesson making easy no-knead bread from scratch. The virtual program is free. Participants will receive the recipes when they register so they can follow the demonstration in their home kitchens if they choose. Friends of the Library are providing funding for this program.
