Hansel And Gretel – A Cautionary Tale

The children’s story starts out innocently enough.  Two young children wandering out in the forest, dropping breadcrumbs along the path hoping to mark their way back home.  Deep in the darkness they come upon a wondrous house encrusted with sugary treats – gingerbread covers the sides; candies of all kinds tempt the children to come forward and to sample each delicious bite.  They can’t believe their good fortune!

Holliston Knights Surpass $250,000 in Charitable Donations!

On Saturday, October 9, 2021 the Saint Mary’s Council of the Knights of Columbus held the prize drawing for their 13th annual charity raffle. With this year’s raffle proceeds which are earmarked for donation, the Council has passed the one quarter of a million dollars in TOTAL donations since beginning their fundraising efforts in 2003.

Updated: Brian D. Carey, 61, of Framingham and formerly Holliston, passed away at his home on Friday, October 8, 2021.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 17th at 12:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston.
