ONEmetrowest Campaign Emphasizes Community Service, and A $50,000 Match

Building off their successful 2020 campaign, the Foundation for MetroWest announces its 2nd annual ONEmetrowest Day on October 29th with an increased emphasis on community involvement and raising critical support for its mission.  The Foundation, with the support of Foundation Trustee Louis Crosier, and his wife Hope, will match every gift made on ONEmetrowest Day, up to $50,000. In another effort to step up for the community, the Foundation for MetroWest is calling on community members to volunteer with one of six participating non-profit partners, going the extra mile to invest in the region through action.

Lions 2nd Annual Treat Transport

It’s that time of year again! Time for the gremlins to start showing their true colors. The Holliston Lions Club is once again urging families to take part in our treat transport. For the second year in a row, we’ll be jazzing up a few cars, adding a few goblins to the seats and we’ll deliver treats to your children at your home.

Envisioning Future Holliston

“Envisioning Future Holliston” (previously known as Comprehensive Long Range Planning Committee), was created from a Citizen’s Petition at the May 2021 Spring Town Meeting. This petition was born out of a need to have a Vision and out of that Vision, one comprehensive plan that links together the policies, plans and studies from the many Holliston boards and committees. The intent of the petition is to have Town Meeting (the townspeople) own this initiative and see it through to fruition.
This communication includes an update and a request for resident input.
