Doris L. Larnis at 95
Doris L. Larnis, 95, affectionately known as, “Ducky”, of Framingham and formerly of Holliston, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22nd from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.

Prior to widespread literacy, town criers were the means of communication with the people of the town since many people could not read or write. Proclamations, local bylaws, market days, adverts, were all proclaimed by a bellman or crier.

Fire / EMS Log for Week of May 7 – 13, 2021
During this reporting period 89% of the calls HFD handled were for medical emergencies – very apropos as it’s EMS Appreciation Week. Thank you Holliston’s EMS personnel!
CRG Presents Revised Plan to Planning Board on May 6, 2021
After conducting some review and approval for a site plan on Jeffery Street, the Planning Board reopened the Public Hearing for the 555 Hopping Brook project at 7:00pm.
