As the current trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic continues here in Massachusetts and across the nation, hospitalization numbers will likely continue to climb, and preparations are underway for a “second surge” within our health care system. Nationwide, we are unfortunately on track to hit our all-time high for hospitalized cases sometime this week, and our statewide hospitalization numbers have grown 91% in the last 30 days alone.

COVID-19: November 9, 2020 Update from Representative Dykema
Last Friday, our statewide COVID-19 public health report contained a sobering reminder of the continued severity of the pandemic: our Commonwealth reported over 2,000 daily new cases for the first time since May 1st.

Civics Sunday: Town Meeting Quorum Legal Notice
In accordance with Section 7 of Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2020, notice is hereby given that during its 6:30 P.M. meeting on Monday November 16, 2020, the Holliston Select Board will consider reducing the quorum of the Special Town Meeting to be held on Saturday December 5, 2020.

Holliston Cultural Council Extends Deadline for Proposals
The 2021 Holliston Cultural Council application process for proposals for funding from local artists, organizations, and schools is now open. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to December 14, 2020.
