Rep Arena-DeRosa Supports $56.2 billion FY24 State Budget
BOSTON – Representative James Arena-DeRosa of the 8th Middlesex District (Holliston, Hopkinton, Sherborn, and precincts two and three of Millis), voted in favor of the state’s $56.2 billion dollar budget, which passed the legislature on July 31st. “This budget is a historic investment in education, food security, and affordability for the Commonwealth”, said Representative Arena-DeRosa….
Select Board Opens the Fall Town Meeting Warrant

The Holliston Select Board met on Monday, August 7, 2023. Chair John Cronin called the meeting to order at exactly 7:00pm. Mr. Cronin noted that Asst Town Administrator / HR Director Kathleen Buckley was sitting in for Town Administrator Travis Ahern who was taking “well-deserved” time off.

The annual Celebrate Holliston festivities will continue this year on September 23rd, in a new downtown location (as Goodwill Park will not be available). The downtown, street-party style event will stretch down Railroad Street to Blair Square.

16 Holliston Locals Cycle in the 2023 Pan-Mass Challenge

On Aug. 5 and 6, more than 6,000 riders from around the globe, including 16 residents from Holliston, will pedal in the 44th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). These cyclists will come together with the common goal of raising a record-breaking $70 million for cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Dana-Farber).
