July 23, 2017:
Complaint, Pleasure Point; caller reported that listed vehicle deposited trash in woods nearby. HPD spoke to the Hemlock Street perp who returned to the scene of the crime to remove the trash (Yes officer, I placed that envelope with my name on it under that pile of trash).
Smoke & fire, New England Industrial; mulch pile fire extinguished but caught fire again.
July 24:
Erratic driver, Kampersal; ran over some chickens all over the road (of course it’s all over the road – the chickens aren’t going to line up for him). HPD found the driver at a gas station. Hometown Auto called for tow.
Crash with Summons, Washington & Courtland; two cars. Minor but Angelo Portugal of Milford issued a summons for unlicensed operation.
July 25:
Crash, Gas & Go, Norfolk; car versus pole (new name: Crash & Stop).
Animal incident, HPD; small white dog with Red Sox collar brought to station. Owner notified.
July 26:
Animal incident, Washington & High; small dog in the road. Owner called.
Crash, Railroad and Church; Holliston Subaru hit by Foxboro Camry.
Animal incident, Norfolk; three calls from the 400 block about a “sickly”, “mangy” fox.
Animal incident, report of medium sized black and white dog in the yard. HPD investigation revealed that it was the neighbor’s dog “just visiting”.
Animal incident, Dean & Westfield; report of small white dog loose.
July 27:
No loose dogs today so HPD had time to issue one citation and one warning.
July 28:
Assist citizen, Norfolk; person lost in Holliston (I know the feeling).
July 29:
Road hazard, Highland & Prentice; book in the road (War and Peace?)
Complaint, High School; report of persons selling glow sticks. Permits in hand.
During the reporting period, 23 citations and seven warnings were issued. Two erratic drivers were reported.
