Robert N. Christensen Jr, 70, a longtime resident of Holliston, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 after a battle with cancer. Born in Natick and raised in Sherborn, he was the son of Renate (Aschaffenburg) and Robert N. Christensen.
Bob attended Wooster College in Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree, followed by a Master’s Degree from Babson College. Bob was a dedicated entrepreneur, co-owning En-R-Gy Saver in Holliston alongside his sister, Barbara, following in the footsteps of their father. Their business was a testament to their hard work and commitment to the community. Bob was a valued member of Engine 3 with the Holliston Fire Department, where he served with pride and dedication from 1988-2023. He also enjoyed golfing and photography.
Bob is survived by two sons, Paul Christensen and his wife, Cara, of Sutton, and Mark Christensen and his wife, Diana of Douglas. He also leaves behind three sisters, Barbara Christensen of Ashland, Donna Dearth of Keene, New Hampshire, and Linda Wright and her husband, Bill, of West Hartford, CT; four grandchildren, Wesley, Vivian, Karlie, and Mark, his grand-dog, Gus, and his former wife, Linda (Cutter) Christensen of Franklin.
