“We’re very glad that representatives from the Furget Me Not rescue will also be in attendance with some of their adoptable dogs,’” says Greyhound Friends Executive Director Terri Shepard. Adoption information from the Bay Path shelter in Hopkinton will also be available. “We are all working toward the same goal: placing formerly unwanted and very deserving dogs in loving, responsible homes. It’s good to share in the day together and strengthen the local dog-loving community.”
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Dogs must be leashed (no retractable leashes please), vaccinated, and properly socialized. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for grooming services. A few volunteer slots are still available for those willing to help with setup; please email greyhoundfriends.office@gmail.com for more information.
