Charlotte Ann Hunt, 91, of Holliston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Born in Sharon, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Barbara B. (Bowman) and Thomas J. McNair, and the beloved wife of John F. Hunt.
Charlotte cherished time at the beach and loved to travel, especially her two treasured trips to Ireland. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, including decorating for ALL of the holidays, playing solitaire, solving puzzles, and watching game shows with anyone willing to indulge her. One of her guilty pleasures was visiting Crescent Ridge for her favorite flavors of ice cream.
Charlotte worked for many years at The Framingham 14 Cinema, The Pot Belly Deli, and Big D (formerly Big Buy). Above all, she devoted her life to her family, lovingly caring for her home, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her house was always the gathering place for not only her children but their extensive network of friends. Even at age 91, Charlotte insisted on hosting holiday meals, and family gatherings will never be the same without her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Kathleen Nichols and her husband, Wayne, of Charleston, SC; Kevin, Cheryl, and Shawn Connors of Holliston; Christopher Connors and his wife, Lisa, of Medway; and Ellen Connors of Ashland. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Edward Connors and by her brothers, Charles and John McNair.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 11:00–12:45 p.m. at the Hopkinton location of Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to The Epilepsy Foundation (epilepsy.com) or The American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
