Returning after last year’s absence, the Annual Trout Derby hosted by the Holliston Sportsmen’s Association (HSA) will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021. The event is open to girls and boys up to sixteen years of age. No food or beverages will be served at this year’s event.
The derby will be held at the Association’s clubhouse and trout pond located at 137 Bullard Street, Holliston. Registration starts at 6:30AM. The entry fee is five dollars per fisherman, with a family maximum of ten dollars.
Fishing starts at 7:00AM and ends at 11:00AM. Trophies will be awarded in several categories. The successful angler will be using bait such as worms, power bait, or meal worms on smaller trout sized hooks. This is a rain or shine event. For more information contact the H.S.A. on our Facebook page.
