Holliston Man to lead National Marine Corps League
In the sixth grade Warren Griffin moved from West Roxbury to Natick, and in 1975 to Holliston. At the height of the Vietnam War, Griffin informed his father that his college career was ending as he had signed up for the U.S. Marines. With a MOS (military occupational specialty) 0849 (naval gunfire), Griffin would find himself outside of DaNang Vietnam in a place called Dong Ha.
