I’ll admit it, I’m a neanderthal when it comes to technology. Imagine my surprise when on a recent trip to Florida that you had to have a cell phone to put your car in a parking lot in downtown Venice. What if you don’t have one, I asked my sister. You’re out of luck she said. I’m one of the few people on this earth that doesn’t have a television or a cell phone.

Holliston’s veterans will meet at Blair Square on Friday November 11th at 10:30 am for a short ceremony at the Iraq/Afghanistan Monument before marching to Memorial Square (Hollis & Washington Streets) for a salute.

Sunday evening, October 23rd, Medway resident Howard White age 72 was reported missing by concerned family. A search was launched involving police from four communities and units of MetroLEC.
2022 will mark the 30th year Celebrate Holliston honors two citizens with its Citizen of the Year Award. The award is as close as Holliston gets to the UK’s MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). Nominations from townspeople are then voted on by a select group from the Celebrate Holliston committee. The awardees come from all walks of life including business, politics, and the everyday Joes and Janes. Holliston Citizens of the Year join a most exclusive club.
The American Legion Downtown Marigold Project was blessed Wednesday morning with six trucks and a dozen volunteers to help plant four hundred chrysanthemums.
