Feast or Famine
The summer of 2021 brought only six days of sunshine in one of the most moisture laden months on record. Local farms were literally under water. Fast forward a year and we have almost a “total extreme” Mark Ahronian of Ahronian Landscape told the Reporter on Wednesday morning.
Farmer’s Market Offers Musical Entertainment
The Holliston Farmer’s Market is held at Blair Square every Sunday until early October.
Musical performers will appear at the Market each of the next three Sundays from 10 – noon.
Motor Vehicle Crash at Highland and Prentice Snarls Morning Traffic
At approximately 7:29 am Tuesday morning a multi-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Highland and Prentice Streets.
The accident is still under investigation – expect continuing traffic disruption.

Flags Replaced on Veterans’ Graves
Veterans, scouts, and parents Thursday eve replaced over 1,400 flags at St. Mary’s and Lake Grove Cemeteries. The outlying cemeteries had been done the previous day.

Downtown Light Post Gets Hit
Repair crews had only recently replaced the decorative tall lamp post in front of Bright Insurance (Jensen & Sheehan) in the town center when Thursday the lamp post across the street in front of Casavant Realty suffered a similar fate.
Artists Invited to the Farmer’s Market
Area artists are once again invited to share their talents and creativity with the public. The one-time offer of a FREE space at the local Farmer’s Market at Blair Square will take place at the first market of the season on June 5th.
Hopkins to Marshal Memorial Day Parade
Marked Tree Road resident Robert Hopkins has been selected by this year’s Memorial Day Committee to serve as the parade marshal for the annual Memorial Day Parade.

Farmers’ Market Accepting Applications
The Holliston Farmers’ Market returns for its second year of operation on Sunday, June 5th thru Sunday, October 2nd. Last year’s market was met with less than favorable weather, with one market being canceled by Hurricane Henri.

Musicians Wanted
The Holliston Farmer’s Market returns in early June.
The experience will be enhanced with volunteer musicians adding audio art to the other art and comestibles available each Sunday.
