Flags Replaced on Veterans’ Graves

Veterans, scouts, and parents Thursday eve replaced over 1,400 flags at St. Mary’s and Lake Grove Cemeteries. The outlying cemeteries had been done the previous day.

Old American flags were burnt in a traditional ceremony. Engine 2 and Car 3 from the Holliston Fire Department stood by as the nearby woods are dry.

American Legion Commander Steve Bradford said that anyone missing a flag or flag holder can contact him at home – 508-429-5810.
