R&R Landscaping had but two employees in 2002–owner Bobby Read and his son Jim. Jimmy Read told the Holliston Reporter that when his dad unexpectedly passed away, Jim didn’t quite know what to do—go to college or continue in his dad’s business.

To the casual observer, the quantity of For Sale and For Lease signs displayed downtown is obvious. Could it be the town’s high rental fees and/or high tax rates keep companies from doing business downtown?
