Chief Cassidy reports a very busy week of emergency calls for Holliston’s Bravest, including another victim extrication from a motor vehicle crash.

This week’s update from Chief Cassidy includes several investigations and one search – in addition to assisting with several medical emergencies.

A motor vehicle crash requiring extrication led off this week’s emergency responses by Holliston Fire.

HFD responded to several medical emergencies and investigated a few alarm activations during this reporting period.

During this reporting period 89% of the calls HFD handled were for medical emergencies – very apropos as it’s EMS Appreciation Week. Thank you Holliston’s EMS personnel!

The Holliston ambulance crews split their time between Milford and Framingham during this reporting period – one day no one was transported despite four calls.

HFD handled 23 emergency calls during this reporting period – most involving the ambulance crews.

HFD handled 25 medical emergencies during this reporting period. Investigations involved alarm activations, downed wires, and odors.

HFD helped several citizens responding to a variety of emergency calls – mostly medical.

The week had a one day total of 11 emergency calls – the other days were quieter. HFD responded to a mulch fire during their busy week.
