The Holliston Select Board convened its first meeting of 2023 at 7:00pm on January 9, 2023. Chair Ben Sparrell has shared with me that he works hard each week to find the best adjective to describe the evening’s agenda – this week an “informative agenda.”

A full week of meetings on the Town’s calendar this week. Of note is the Planning Board’s meeting on Thursday includes a Public Hearing regarding a new proposal for 555 Hopping Brook.
When traveling on many residential streets and neighborhoods in Holliston you may notice a traffic sign that is missing – a posted Speed Limit.

The Holliston Senior Center hosted a holiday luncheon earlier this month. Members of the Holliston Police Department were on hand to “serve” the meal.

Christmas and Hanukkah wrap up and Kwanzaa begins.
The week (and year) ends up with a Bonfire at the Community Farm.

Holliston Select Board Chair Ben Sparrell called the December 19, 2022, meeting to order at 7:01pm. Mr. Sparrell promised a “festivus” agenda in keeping with the holiday spirit.
Thanks to National Honor Society member Taryn Holmes the annual Wreaths Across America made a stop at Lake Grove Cemetery this past Saturday.

Hannukah begins at sunset tonight with the Menorah at Town Hall being lit on Tuesday at 6 pm.
Winter arrives on Wednesday – with hopes for a white Christmas.
