Select Board Sets FY22 Tax Rate
Holliston Select Board Chair Tina Hein called the November 22, 2021 meeting to order at 7:03pm. The agenda included a Public Hearing on the FY22 Tax Rate. Stay tuned for the new rate below.
House Fire Destroys Washington Street Residence
At 9:11 am on Monday, November 22, 2021 Holliston Fire and Police were called to the scene of a working house fire at 1004 Washington Street. When crews arrived, the house was fully involved. All residents and pets escaped safely. One resident was transported from the scene by Holliston ambulance.

Senior Center Thanksgiving Luncheon
The staff and volunteers of the Holliston Senior Center are making it possible for some traditional events to return indoors. This Monday, the Center hosted the annual Thanksgiving luncheon with COVID precautions maintained.

Faithful readers will recall that there was no Select Board meeting last Monday, November 8, 2021. The November 15, 2021 meeting boasted as Chair Tina Hein said, “a very packed agenda” starting at 7:01pm.

Lions Light Up Downtown
Members of the Lions Club were out Sunday decorating the town. The annual program which had fallen on leaner times a few years back, was reinvigorated by Lion Ed Daniels.

American Legion Post 47. the Holliston Lions, and TJ’s restaurant joined forces to honor Holliston’s veterans at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
