The Holliston American Legion will hold its annual 9/11 Awards Ceremony on Sunday, September 12th, 10AM at the Senior Center, 150 Goulding Street, Holliston. The ceremony recognizes members of Holliston’s police, fire, and EMS departments who have gone above and beyond in their service to the community.

Holliston Public Schools will be participating in the National School Lunch Program. As part of this program, Holliston Public Schools will offer healthy meals every school day. For the 2021 – 2022 school year each child will be eligible for one free lunch each school day these meals are offered.
The Holliston Council on Aging (CoA) currently has a vacancy and is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who would wish to be considered for appointment to the Council.

The Town of Ashland in collaboration with Mass Bay Community College will be holding a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on September 14, 2021 from 1pm – 4pm..The clinic will be held at Mass Bay Community College at 270 Eliot Street, Ashland. This clinic is available for anyone 12 years old and up.

Edwina M. Kirby, 93, of Bellingham passed away at her home on Aug. 31 after a short illness.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 4-8 p.m. at the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street, Hopkinton. The funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8, from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Saint Brendan’s Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham.
The Holliston Cultural Council seeks funding proposals from local artists, organizations, and schools. The Council provides cultural programming for a variety of ages and interests throughout the year, including music and dance performances, visual arts exhibits and workshops, and school-based events. Many events were still able to take place during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Council looks forward to offering continued innovative events and workshops in 2022.
