Kenneth W. Campbell Jr., 86, of Holliston, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, in Holliston, surrounded by family. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Flight) and Kenneth W. Campbell Sr. He was the loving, adoring, and dedicated husband of 48 years to the late Marilyn (Bowden) Campbell.
Ken was a proud Army veteran and an active member of his community. He was deeply involved in his children’s lives through coaching soccer and spending years as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. Ken served as a board member of Employment Options as well as a proud (and founding) member of the Holliston Good Times Investment Club and the Mystery Club. His kindness and ability to connect with people, laugh, and have a good time shined in these organizations. Ken was a lifelong learner and true do-it-yourselfer who could always be found working on a project, making home improvements, and finding a way to do it himself.
He was also a longtime Patriots fan and held season tickets for decades. Throughout his life, Ken made friends wherever he went and had friendships that reached all over the world. He had a gift for connecting with people, making them laugh, and making them feel welcome.
Most of all, Ken was a loving and proud husband and father, and few things brought him greater joy than being a grandfather. His family was at the center of his life, and nothing meant more to him than the people he loved.
Ken is survived by his daughter Andrea Wasylow and her husband, Peter, of Rehoboth, and son Matthew Campbell and his wife, Eileen Resnick, of Annandale, VA. He also leaves his brother, Bruce Campbell, and his wife, Linda (Scamp), of Jackson, NH; Jeri Swenson of Conway, NH; and four grandchildren, Ella, Ava, Brooke, and Maya.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association lung.org/ or to Alzheimer’s Association alz.org
