A Conversation about Transgender Identities & Rights

Tuesday, November 19th, 7:30 p.m.

Temple Beth Torah, 2162 Washington Street, Holliston

Mason Dunn, Director of Advocacy for Keshet, will lead an exciting and engaging conversation about transgender rights and identities. We’ll cover a wide array of topics, from pronouns, to nonbinary identities, and the status of transgender rights at the local and federal level. Come with questions and curiosity to learn more about this amazing and unique community from a Jewish perspective.

Linda Myer, Education Director at Temple Beth Torah, says, “Mason Dunn spoke at my former synagogue in Plymouth two years ago.  He covers a great deal, is a wonderful speaker, and we all learned a lot about our transgender friends and neighbors.  That’s why I wanted Mason to share his expertise and life story with all of us in Metrowest.”

Mason’s presentation will be followed by breakout discussion sessions for teens and adults.  All are welcome.  This program is presented by Temple Beth Torah in Holliston and Temple Etz Chaim in Franklin, and supported in part by Combined Jewish Philanthropies and private donations. Come learn, discuss, and schmooze with us!
